Kishi said that he'll tell the stories of the Juubi, then Madara, then Sasuke, we've done the Juubi, now we are on Madara, meaning after Madara, we focus on Sasuke, cause he definitely has some kind of hidden agenda.

IIRC, he said that it would be first Madara, then the juubi, and then Sasuke. The next arc would probably explore the Sage family, like what happened to the brother and all.
