Chicory does not bind you. Which is why he told naruto to use a jutsu to bind him with. For arguments sake, even if the chidori could bind someone it's obviously not strong enough to hold the limbo, which is why naruto used tge gudou dama. It had nothing to do with sasuke being faster.

Cooperation like yin yang seals. Both are needed or one isnt necessarily better than the other one.

Sasuke could have simply swap with madara and let naruto do the sealing
