The idea is to stop the Edo not kill Kabuto, Itachi activated His jutsu, and next chapter your theory may go out the window as Itachi an Edo reappears again and Kabuto is trap in Itachi jutsu. And Sasuke is still the same.

I actually agree. I think Itachi will be sealed/controlled by Kabuto (in my opinion, probably the former), not as a result of this hit, but after Izanami is revealed. This I believe would make sense if Kishi continues putting his main attention to this fight. Remember! One of the big battles is AGAINST and edo (Madara), and that fight would be totally ruined if Edo is ended in this one before we get to see anything from the other.

So my idea is that Itachi gets sealed at some point after using Izanami, Sasuke gets insanely angry because now he won't get that talk he wanted with Itachi, goes on a rampage, and either kills or seems to kill Kabuto (who might pretend to die since it's so difficult to kill him).This would end the fight and keep edo tensei, which would allow the other fight I mentioned to go unhindered.
