I always take the side of the underdog and Sasuke fanboys are actually receiving hates more so than the others. If you want to deal with the haters, first you need to have their attention. Makes sense?

Okay, I'm a fan of Sasuke since the beginning. He has always been my favorite character but NO.

Sasuke has not been a friend to Naruto. imo to not recognize that as legit flaw in his character is a giant disservice to Sasuke's complex character. Yes, Sasuke spared Naruto at the Valley of the end. However, in part 2, he repeatedly tried to kill Naruto. These are not the actions of a true friend.

At this point, while Sasuke is well on his way to redemption (looking to future, saving his comrades, has given up revenge) he is not redeemed yet. He still has dark intentions, which Naruto will save him from in their final battle which Naruto will win. Then Naruto offers his hand to Sasuke in friendship, not repeating the mistake of the First. It's at this point that Sasuke will have his chance for final redemption. Will he take Naruto's hand or not? If he does, then Sasuke has been redeemed.

I agree to some extent that Sasuke should not become a "TNJ slave," Sasuke should remain the yin to Naruto's yang. This makes them the perfect team. Each able to point out the weaknesses in the other's logic, as they go to help reform the ninja world. Sasuke and Naruto compliment each other. Where there is a weakness in one, there is a strength in the other. Sasuke absolutely cannot become the yang. Their teamwork would be gone. You do realize that Sasuke would have been dead last chapter if it weren't for Naruto.
Sasuke would be dead if Naruto didn't beg Tsunade to not put him on the bingo list.
Sasuke would be dead if Naruto didn't show mercy after Sasuke killed Danzo and tried to kill Sakura/Karin.
Sasuke would be dead if Kakashi Kamui'd him instead of the Enton Arrow.
Sasuke would be dead if Kabuto was actually trying to kill him instead of capturing his body.
Sasuke would be dead Itachi was actually trying to kill him in their fight.

There might be a few I didn't mention, but Sasuke has been at the mercy of many people.

1. Everybody has both yin and yang chakra. This is different from their philosophy. Naruto's philosophy is the like the First's. It is completely yang. He needs a complimentary yin philosophy in order to be realistic
2. What? Yes, Sasuke did. Sasuke is looking to the future, has given up revenge, apologized to Karin, and is saving this comrades. This actions are completely different to him at the Five Kage Summit. Sasuke has become less dark. Yes, he is still dark but his is less dark. It's called gradual character development. He can't change completely after 1 tnj. He is changing gradually. It will take several stages for Sasuke to be completely redeemed.
3. Yes, he did admit that the Valley of the End. However, his actions such as attempting to kill Naruto reveal that Part 2 Sasuke does not consider Naruto a friend. Again, it's called character development. Sasuke changed. In the end, when Naruto changes him back, I have no doubt Sasuke will accept him as a friend again.
