I was on the internet and i stumbled upon this gem... It's explaining why Sasuke is garbage basically. I cut it up into a tl;dr version cause it was pretty long. If it's still to long for your tiny brain i bolded the gist, its a 10/10 read tho. Didn't write it.
Never mind the fact that he's one dimensional, he's also a complete douche thoughout the entire series. He went to a mildly unlikeable character, into a completely detestable character. He leads people around to do his bidding, and uses that power to manipulate them to do terrible things. When he confronted Sakura Haruno, and Hayate Kakashi at the kage summit, he led the girl around to make her think that he still has "feelings" for her, asked her to kill one of his subordinates, Karin. She willingly followed him around like a puppy, and does everything for him. That doesn't faze him at the least bit. He sacrificed this girl on multiple occasions, case and point, when he fought Danzo and ruthlessly sacrificed her just to kill him. that makes him no better than Danzo, that guy will sacrifice the entire village just to become hokagae. He will play mind games with people to do his bidding, and that to me is sickening.
You would think the truth of Itachi would lead sasuke to think about the choices he made in his life, and think about the sacrifice the his brother made to ensure his future.
Now granted, he should be mad at the people who were responsible for his family's death, especially Danzo; who at this point in the series is proven himself to be a real prick. Yes, Danzo got what he deserved, but not the rest of the innocent people in Konoha. Yes folks, Saskue is going to commit a genocide of the people of Konoha . In spite of everything his brother sacrificed to make sure that he can go back to the village.
Even after the war, once he changes his mind. His grand "revolution" is to force his ideals on the ninja world, kill anyone who disagrees with him, and be the dictator of Konoha. Very wise Sasuke, I bet Itachi is giving you two thumbs up from the grave.
The way Kishimoto wrote this character was just awful, and the awful writing pretty much bleed throughout the entire series. You have the main character, Naruto, becoming an complete mope because of Sasuke's ability to be a complete douche to anyone who gave a damn about him, and let's not forget that half of the main plot now centers around Sasuke. Again i would like to stress the issue of the whole issue about Sasuke, and his brother was originally a sub-plot, and how it should have stayed a sub-plot.
What really gets me is the fact that fans of this series openly accept the fact that if you have a bad childhood, that gives you the excuse to extraordinarily violent, evil, inhumane things. This is show cased by so many antagonists in this series who are complete bad characters in their own right, but that's moving away form the main subject. This is what Sasuke Uchiha promotes; not taking personal responsibility for your life, and blaming everyone but yourself on how shitty your life has become. That's not maturity, in fact, that's the pure trait of immaturity.
So what do you guys think about his opinion? This dude is a lowkey savage. :elmo:
