While Sasuke is certainly strong, the person that will take out/beat the Juubi is Naruto. He's the child of prophecy, hinted as the sage's reincarnation. Besides, he wants to save the Bijuu so it makes sense that he should be the one to defeat the Juubi.

Sasuke's major fight in this war will be against Madara. If anyone will end the root of the cursed Uchiha clan, it should be an Uchiha. Hashirama is fighting Madara now, but there's no way Kishi will make Hashirama beat him twice. This will be the Deidara fight but on a much higher level. Sasuke will get a power up and we'll see him go completely all out defeating Madara, but maybe dieing in the process.

Macho, my man. Glad to see you didn't leave. I agree with you, but only to an extent. The only thing his higher version of Susano'o' would do, is provide defense for a while longer. All higher forms of Susano'o have additional defense layers. Jinton will eventually eat through his Susano'o anyway. So yes, if he uses it on himself to save his life with a higher V4 Susano'o. He can land a hit and hold his ground for a while longer, BUT, this is happening anyway, I'm afraid.
