How old do you think Danzo is? 72 years old+his experince with the 2nd and the 3rd Ninja World and on top of that Danzo was the leader of the ANBU Black Obs which were also known for their intelligence and knowledge in the battlefield.

Sasuke was able to fool that same man(Danzo)who had more experince than Itachi,Minato,Orochimaru,J-man or anyone else for that matter except for Hashirama,Hiruzen,Tobirama, and Madara......Sasuke wasn't just able fool Danzo, but analyze a technique he never saw before(Izanagi)from the start of the fight between him and Danzo......this again, clear example as to why Sasuke's intelligence is far higher than what you think.
