Imagine the surprised I got when I saw that Kishimoto wanted Sasuke to be the Hokage initially.

I can't imagine seeing Sasuke being the Hokage.
That's so illogical.
I'm pretty certain Sasuke fanboys would had loved this XD

It's obviously fake lead whether intentional trolling or missing something in translation.

Edit: Someone commented on the facebook that it was a mistranslation and Kishimoto said that he intended for Sasuke to WANT to be hokage. He never said that Sasuke will BE hokage.

It may not be a reliable source but seeing it was posted months ago- & Sasuke declared he wanted to be hokage but didn't become one, it's looks more accurate anyway.

Why should Sasuke being the Uchiha matter to anyone? They care about his actions which were that of a rogue ninja and criminal. Kakashi said himself Sasuke being set free was asking a lot because he helped ended IT and they even did that because of Naruto. If he was more logical then he wouldn't have been so crazy as MS Sasuke during the Kage summit and he wouldn't make up his plan to kill the Bijuus and Kages. It's the feudal lords who have the power, they are the ones who ok Kage decisions and even choose the Kage's as we seen when Danzo was named the 6th Hokage stand in.

Well of course he's seen as a criminal, his actions of joining the biggest criminal organization and attacking the Kage summit had to do with it. He could have easily went back to Konoha and have Danzo charged with ordering Itachi to wipe out his clan but then everyone would view the clan as a whole evil since they were trying to do coup. Doesn't matter the reasons, he lost his family and clan because they wanted to rebel instead of trying to prove to the officials that they won't lose control over themselves as past Uchihas. Sasuke grew up knowing love, sure losing his family does grant him the right for wanting revenge but the way he went about it was wrong. He could have stayed in Konoha, trained for a few years, and hunt down Itachi with team 7 on an official mission. His actions were stupid and kinda sad, I mean, he joined the guy who helped killed his clan....

The whole clan wasn't hated, reread. Itachi told Naruto to not let out the true of the coup so the clan's name will not be tarnished. Only Madara, Obito, Itachi, and Sasuke are hated by most people. Itachi's truth it only known by Naruto, Sasuke, Kabuto, Orochimaru, Kakashi, and Yamato.

Both brothers joined Akatsuki and helped them get as far as reviving the Juubi.... We don't know if Itachi caught any Bijuu's but he was the one who recruited Deidara who caught 1 tails, 2 tails (anime), and 3 tails. Sasuke attempted to catch Bee but still gave Obito some of the 8 tails chakra. Sasuke knew Bijuus were ultimate chakra weapons as Karin and Obito told him but he didn't care to give the weapon to a criminal organization.

Both brothers didn't save the world unless you're counting Itachi for his wise advice to Naruto? Naruto used KA on Itachi which put Itachi under Naruto's control; Shisui gave KA to Itachi as Itachi did to Naruto. Helping to cause the Juubi revival is them indirectly responsible for all the deaths and close to rendering everyone under IT. This is 12 years later so for all you know Naruto wised up as he looks to have done at the end. Hashirama was dumb but had Tobirama as his advisor as Shikamaru said when he said he'll be Naruto's advisor. Also Kakashi said Naruto has always been weirdly smart during the war arc.

Sasuke's smart wasn't enough to see how wrong he was, Naruto got him to see that. Naruto was basically a leader of the alliance, Sasuke even asked him what they should do. A leader needs to be able to take care of the people in their village, handle the politics, get along with the other villages, plus handle the changes made to the system after the war. Naruto being Hokage shows he can handle all of the requirements to be Hokage, no one would vote for Sasuke after all he did.

Well yeah, Kishi messed up the manga around after Pein arc, it was too rushed. There should have been a time skip before the war which would have made it better plus take away Kaguya and end it with Madara. Have Naruto and Sasuke fight before the war and change Sasuke at that time then have Sasuke change more good in time which makes him join the alliance as a hero but eh

Yes, even then. Obito told him his clan was trying to do a coup which could make other villages Attack Konoha which results in more death. So that's like being told your brother who is CIA, taking out your family who are terrorist and trying to take over the government which can make other countries Attack us. Obito helped killed the Uchiha clan and he told Sasuke this yet he sides with him. Obito said himself that he took a gamble because Sasuke could have chose to honor Itachi's wises and return back to Konoha as a hero who defeated the criminal Itachi.
