I should of made myself clear lol.

Instead of sneaking up to Sasuke, it would of been better if Boruto up-front challenged him into a duel. Obviously no one can sneak up behind Sasuke, but it would have been cooler to see him be challenged as a man, and knowing Sasuke he would of respected that notion. Turning it into a real battle, hell I bet Sasuke would of taken him seriously. Though knowing Boruto he probably would have given up after being thrown down unlike Naruto who would of tried to get up.

I'm just a sucker for that kind of play xD.

In this scene Boruto wanted to test how great of a shinobi Sasuke was, so he setup a trap. After being thrown onto the floor Boruto said, "I knew you were a great shinobi" blah blah. Then he requested to be his student, and then Sasuke asked him to make the Rasengan, and you know the rest lol

I get what you are trying to say, but you are comparing an ant to a lion, it wouldn't be a duel of any sorts.

You never know, Sasuke might have wanted to see how he moves in battle and let him play around before deciding it end it. That's what I mean.

Kind of like Kakashi's bell test, of course he could of finished him quite easily if he was serious, but he wanted to see how they performed ... and at the same time he was giving them tips. Things like that are more exciting than a quick test xD

I think one of the best things about Boruto is that he knows his limitations.

When Momoshiki was creating his Bijuudama/TSB-like attack, Sasuke told him to use his Rasengan because he remembered that it disappeared. Boruto told Sasuke that Momoshiki would just absorb it so there was no literal point in using Ninjutsu against him, which was extremely smart, but Sasuke said "Trust in your Shishou, Boruto"
