Realistically he could have used a Kunai with Raiton in place of his Sword of Kusanagi. And it wouldn't have made a difference as it wouldn't pierce Naruto.

Using Gaiden as Reference isn't good because that Naruto wasn't in his Strongest form either. He was rusty and didn't display his Rikudo Sage Cloak which he fought Madara, Kaguya & VOTE 2 Sasuke with.

You're in denial. When Naruto was hit with Sasuke's sword he felt extreme pain, (hence his facial expression). He felt so much pain that he couldn't even maintain the Kyuubi avatar, thus leaving himself defenseless.

So you think. if he was hit Sasuke would stand there and do nothing while Naruto recovers? Also if Naruto is stabbed in the head or heart it is an instant kill, he is not immortal like Madara as i pointed out in my earlier comment.

You are disregarding logic, the sword was proven to be highly effective, and if having,and using his sword would be meaningless than Kishimoto wouldn't have made this the one battle in Part 2 where Sasuke doesn't have it...

Sensor Abilties: Naruto is also a Sensor He would sense Sasuke's chakra building in his Rinnegan. Couple that with his reflexes and are you saying Naruto couldn't counter Sasuke if he teleported behind him and attacked with his sword?

Shadow Clones: I said 100's of clones not thousands. And he did so against Kaguya and he fooled her quite a bit with all those clones multiple times. Naruto is VERY crafty with his clones. If Pre JJ madara can create 25 clones each with walking Susanooes it isn't far fetched that 6 paths Naruto can creat 100s of clones with Ashura/Bijuu Avatars

Truth Seeking Balls: You realize they are poised around his back......right where Sasuke Teleported. Naruto wouldn't even have had to turn around as he did. He would have Sensed Sasuke like he did, and could have shaped manipulated the Balls into a sharp spike right through Sasuke's heart....Just like you guys claim Sasuke could teleport his sword right into Naruto's head.

Worse case scenario they both kill each other at the same time. Naruto has faster reflexes than Sasuke. Sasuke is just faster than Naruto. Using the teleportation isn't a guranteed hit.

Look what happened to Minato. He teleported in very close range to madara but his reflexes weren't fast enough to land his Rasengan and he lost an arm for it.

Same applies to Naruto VS Sasuke in this case. These are all what if Scenarios there is no more proof that Sasuke could land a hit with his sword on Naruto had he had Omniyoudon as there is proof That naruto could manipulate the balls to impale Sasuke the moment he appeared behind him.

In canon, Sasuke used a Fire Ball jutsu to distract Naruto, then he teleported behind him, and hit him with Chidori. He already hit him in canon... so yes if he had his sword in that moment he could have peirced him with it.

Naruto was not skilled with the TSB at the time, so claiming he could have used it like that at the time is false. I point out how Sasuke could have used his sword because he actually did have a sword, used it in many battles, and is highly skilled with it. Naruto hasn't shown that skill with the TSB.

By the way Sasuke could swap places with the TSB to be even closer to Naruto, but instead Masashi had him swap places with a random offscreen object instead of the 3 Floating Black Orbs obviously behind Naruto.

Yes Naruto needs a cheat code (Universal Knowledge of chakra), and clones to speed up training/learning expeirence to even have a chance at matching or surpassing Sasuke, who doesn't have the Universal knowledge power, and doesn't use clones to speed up training considering he's a genuis.

Sasuke, in days learned something that usually takes months/years to learn, whereas Naruto needed thousands of clones to cut down time.

Well Sasuke can also make clones, and he has the Sharingan which can perfectly copy any jutsu that is not a KKG that uses handseals.

Piercing Naruto through the head or the Heart wouldn't happen IC. Not to mention Naruto back @ VOTE1 already made Sasuke's attempt to stab him through the heart with Heart futile by moving at the very last second. RSM Naruto already reacted to Sasuke teleporting instantly behind him & with danger sensing he'd be able to counter.

Also your failing to realize that Sasukes striking speed is > with Chidori than it is with his Katana. As shown against Madara, Kaguya & Naruto.

Sasuke Did need the bijuu. He even said it himself so don't try to lie.

And like I said in the last Post. Gaiden Naruto was super nerfed and got his Kyuubi Link Mode cloak penetrated while they were inside his avatar.

Naruto isn't invincible your right. But each of his modes/powers increase his durablility. There's no reason too assume a non nerfed naruto can't tank a thrust from a sword.
