Sasuke saying that he wants to be hokage stirred up NB quite a bit. But here's my thing people are saying that he hasn't done enough to be hokage well let's take a look at sasukes resume. Took out two Akatsuki members, I believe naruto took two of the Akatuski members. Naruto with the help the shinobi alliance took out a lot of edo tensi and Sasuke and Itachi took out the rest. Oonki said "whoever stopped edo tensi is a hero of this war" ...Hero isn't that what Itachi wanted for sasuke ( i hate to say it fanboys but your itachi is a genius), this will come to light momentarily that he was a part of releasing edo tensi. Every hokage on the battlefeild is there because of sasuke, so because of sasuke the whole shinobi alliance was save by 4th hokage. All four kages look like they are about to seal the 10 tails a feat the SA were not capable of before sasuke got there.

Now there are some that are going say the 1st broke edo tensi or the kages are using there own free will, and to answer i ask that if not for sasuke would any hokage been relased from the shimigami's stomach. I really don't believe sasuke will be hokage but he sure has the resume' to be one. And the bad stuff that he did wasn't that much worst than Gaara

Raikage A is probably gonna wanna Lightning Lariat Sasuke SO badly next time he sees him.

Anyways, Sasuke is trying to redeem and atone for what he's done by battling Madara/Juubi. I can totally see the Hokages especially Hashirama sticking up for Sasuke (by revealing the truth about the Uchiha Clan and Itachi) and to tell the Shinobi Alliance to forget the past.

I think plot calls for him to be hokage. Last time when hashirama tried to make madara to be hokage but everyone refused madara went crazy and basically caused all this. So yea sasuke being hokage will break the cycle.

Sasuke has no chance of being Hokage, he has commited various crimes and made the Raikage and the Samurai absolutely hate him.

Plus, he stated several times he was going to destroy the village, that's not the kind of guy you make leader.

Obviously in the ninja world such acts can be forgiven much easier than in the real world. You make this clear by pointing out Gaara and his past a good example, but lets not forget from what we know he was continuously attacked by assassins whom he responded to by killing unlike Sasuke who initiated the threat on the Kages and than killed weak opponents, Gaara was also possessed by the 1 tail before his birth a power he could never fully control and it likely accidentally harmed many even before his madness. This is not the case with Sasuke who made conscious decisions regarding what he believed to be correct behavior in his heart.

Sasuke won't become Hokage.

He isn't loyal or Truth worthy, He isn't liked by the people of konoha, He Is/Was a wanted criminal who attempted to steal another villages bijuu for a criminal organization, He attacked the kage summit, He killed the acting Hokage and so on.

You really think after all this, The Elders/citizens would trust him?, Let alone pick him as hokage?. When there is naruto who is Loyal, Dependable, Loved in the Eyes of the village, A Hero who saves the leaf from pain thus getting acknowledgement and trust from the citizens of the leaf, Close friend of tsunade the current hokage who would vouch for his actions, Being a student of Jiraiya one of the most respected shinobi the leaf has had and so on.

Sasuke will need to earn the leafs trust back with time.

every bad act he has commited was in direct response to to the things that were done to him. People say that it was different because with gaara because they were trying to kill him....THE LEAF KILLED HIS WHOLE CLAN, and motivation his brother had to do it was for them not to kill sasuke. If Itachi would have died before sasuke left the village knowing what we know now do you really think sasuke would have had the opportunity to grow up in that village.

If danzo had not been killed at kage summit after what he did ther would be no shinobi alliance. they would not have respected danzo as kage nor would have given up the title of hokage.

One more thing kage's aren't heros they are hero's of their respective village which means one man's hero is another man villian. Oonki and Danzo(at the summit) where how most kage behave had sasuke not interfered they would still be arguing with one another (something that tobi was betting on). With the exception of killing danzo what has he done against his own village. Oh and by the way stealing tail beast from another is usually praised by the village that's doing the stealing. Why is it do you think they try to keep jinurriki in their own villages and not let them travel.

Garra is not the same as sasuke, gaara didn't betray his village, he didn't attack world leaders, he didn't join a international criminal orgarnisation, he didn't kill a kage candidate. And he did close to nothin in freein edo tensei and even if he did well in this war maybe they can forgive his crime but to become an hokage? That is just ridiculous, he didn't even apologise to anybody he just sprout nonsense.
