Everyone is saying Kishi forgot it. I remember people were hyping NaruHina kid before it exist because they though it was going to have Naruto and Hinata's abilities. Nope.

Boruto just seems like a mini Naruto. Why does he have whiskers? It's not like he's a jinchuuriki and even then, only Naruto had physical features reflecting that. I would have thought that the Hyuuga eyes were dominant, but both children have blue eyes? Looks more like Naruto reproduced asexually with himself.

Naruto had his whiskers since he was born though, prior to becoming Kurama's jinchuriki, so it makes sense that his son and daughter share this trait. About the byakugan, I have the suspicion that wither Kishi himself, or Jump's editorial department decided/pushed to have a Naruto replica in order to keep the brand similar: so, more of a marketing strategy than Kishimoto forgetting it XD

I will wait to see if Boruto lives up to the prodigy hype before stating who is the best kid...for sure Sarada is promising, unlocking the sharingan already
