Like the title says, Sasuke has become smarter lately. And it's ben great to see Orochimaru again. I wish Jiraiya could be revived.

LOL this^. But it does seem like he's more clear-headed now, I liked ALL of Sasuke's dialogue this chapter, maybe he doesn't want to sound like a helpless kid in front of Orochimaru. It seems like whenever he is around Oro he gets much more calm and analytical. He's getting down to business now so we will see

Well I would say the same that he is indeed becoming smarter. More calmness and the ability to think clearly will definitely help him become smarter.

I believe Sasuke will gain lots of knowledge in the near future and will rival even Itachi when it comes to knowledge. Once Sasuke reaches his prime, he will also be a wise man so imo he would be able to surpass even Itachi if he lives long enough.

I want to see him in a battle soon as well as Orochimaru.
