We knew that Sasuke was mostly using his sword to solo his oponent.

Currently Sasuke no longer have to depend on his sword to kill ,since it fell to the lava.

Sasuke should be able to use effective ninjutsu from his ying chakra ,sharinnegan /rinnegan path jutsu ,and naturally jutsu that he learnt in the past.I really hope Sasuke show some new abilities next chapter.
