NOO!!! you have to understand japanese culture, its honorable for a hero to die in the end, protecting world from evil, its a concept kishi is more aware of how he should end the story. its also a circle of life, a hero suppost to face evil and defeat it, but as he fights evil, the evil becomes more and more stronger, to the point where the hero has to pass his legacy to a new hero. just look at jiraiya he wanted to one day bring peace to the world, and he met alot of bad people who he fought, he defeated them, but in the end, he had to pass his legacy to naruto, because they evil became to strong for him to win. and thats why naruto was able to defeat it, then ofcourse some day naruto will have to do the same. sacrifice his life and pass on his legacy to a new generation of peace makers.
