Either way is fine for followers of Lord Sasuke.

Sasuke and any other Uchiha could still push past that obstacle for example with sage mode, however it is not entirely under their control if the Uchiha can only get stronger through murder and theft. That was pretty much kishi's ****up.

Although Sasuke has blessed eyes, Sasuke talent is base off pure skills. Everything he does outside of clan heritage gives them hope. Sasuke's strength and speed is natural. It was learned through hard work. Looking at Sasuke allows the weaker Ninjas to believe they could one day reach that level.

So why doesn't this apply to Naruto.

Naruto doesn't, because his power comes from Kurama. When Naruto does stuff with Kurama, they think he's just lucky to be chosen to be a Jinchuriki. So weaker Ninjas can't gain hope from him. Similar to when Obito told them stop fighting, and he won't kill them anymore. Edo Tensei Hashirama couldn't bring alive Ninjas the will to fight on because.. well... he's already dead.

Watching Sasuke let ninjas who don't have things like a Tailed Beast, 8 Gates, or a very OP Jutsu make them believe they could become just like him.

Naruto used the Nine-Tails power in all of those fights. He just didn't defeat them in KM/BM except for Juubito.
