I guess the same question Naruto was asked. How he wants this fight to end.

I believe that it is to be assumed that Sasuke gave a similar answer, maybe Kishi wants us to infer that Sasuke's discussion with Hagoromo went very similar to Naruto's and (Or possibly along the lines of wanting to attain peace, but in a way that none of his predecessors tried to achieve it)

I thought it was understood that Hago and Sasuke had pretty much the same convo as Naruto and Hago did. Sasuke's answer for how he wants the war to end might be a little different though. Naruto wants to protect his friends and Sasuke, having been enlightened on the cycle of hatred, wants to end the cycle and ensure that something like this war and the suffering he, Itachi, his clan, and everyone else experienced never happens again.
