Sasuke is in possession of an Eternal Mangekyou, the first tiime in history since Madara Uchiha himself. This perfects his Susanoo, and I believe this is what was seen when he first demonstrated its overwhelming form and power with Amaterasu Orb against the last bit of White Zetsus. I strongly think Kishi is suggesting that the form Sasuke’s Susanoo takes when synced with Naruto (who is in perfect control of Kyuubi’s chakra) is of the same level that Madara achieves with JUST the Rinnegan alone - which would make sense, that the Rikudou Sennin wielded a Susanoo of titanic proportions capable of competing with a Bijuu. So with this said - Sasuke’s final power-up may involve some other unique but essentially the same way to achieve such a God-like Susanoo on his own (please Kishi), or it may have already been shown as the combo with Naruto we’ve seen (borrrrriiiiiinng). But either way, his final power up will revolve around Susanoo - the ultimate technique of the Uchiha.

Makes sense--but we've all seen what Madara's is like, and if Sasuke's is either:
A) The same level, in wich there's not much new (I mean, he's spammed Amaratsu hundreds of times, so shiney new Amaratsu weapons wouldn't be that much of a UNIQUE upgrade, and that's what he needs)
B) Better than Madara's, in wich bringing in Madara would, in one way or another, be all for naught. He's the GOD of the Uchiha, and Sasuke should be close (but not quite) where Madara is now. MADARA HAS TO STAY UNIQUE, including the power level of his Susano'o.
I'd give up on Naruto completely (given the past damage of recent months) if Sasuke got the Rinnegan.
But, then, Naruto still hasn't come out and clearly revealed "that jutsu", so I imagine Sasuke would need an ace up his sleeve too.
I mean, they ARE EQUALS at were they stand now. Period. If one gets an ace, the other one does soon after.

sorry to drop this on ya brah but sasuke is getting the rinnegan whether you like it or not naruto represents the younger son of the sage which is the : "body" while sasuke represents the older son of the sage which is the "eyes" and the eyes of the sage last time i checked were the rinnegan and even go look at the older son's eyes and tell me what they bloody loook like
