If Sasuke fans would understand that Naruto and Sasuke are now friends they would be capable of acting normal.

There is no need to say who is the best between them since Kishi says himself that they are equal.

Why would someone keep saying one is better than the other ?

Well they admit inferiority to the other character and their jimmies get rustled. They simple can't let the anger that Sasuke let go a long time ago.
