It is a manga fact that he can only teleport within a certain range and it is a manga fact that he has to switch with something.. Infact, it is a manga fact that those words came from Sasuke himself...
Ask yourself this, if he doesn't need something to replace himself with then why did he use Sakura's jacket? Couldn't he have just teleported to Obito and Sakura without switching with the Jacket?

And I do think that he can only use it once in Kaguya's dimensions.. Well, he can probably use it twice in the Genesis dimension..

I'm not sure where to begin since I wasn't expecting to get attacked by fanboys and trolls. I will simply say that it has been proven that Sasuke has a cool down period after using his special eye 2 or 3 times. Sasuke does become useless once hes in cool down and has been lucky to not have been replaced as Narutos sidekick. Naruto has way too much patience and should look for a replacement soon.
