But Shishio is outgoing, manipulating and his blood is boiling while Sasuke is more introverted, calm and cold. You can't really compare them imo.

The stabbing situations were kind of different aswell. Kenshin had the upper hand and Yumi happily let herself get pierced by Shishio to give him a chance at winning and he knew he brainwashed her to the point that she didn't care. Sasuke on the other hand was dominating the situation and would kill anyone in cold blood who would get in the way of his goals.
