I think this was tact on his part rather than continue their fight. Based on Sasuke's destructive personality, he probably wanted to explore Naruto's feelings more by admitting he lost rather than outright kill him. Not saying he didn't but I see it more as a draw. Why? It's a very emotional experience to fight a friend especially when your ideals take priority over their life. It was hard for him to let go of his past.

I say this from a psychological perspective of course.

It has every similarity with human except that part in back. That part is actually a tail. If you think that is not tail than what is it. Why would creature that has same figure as human have that part on his back ,why would Kishi make that exception ? Its surely tail

We already know when you use bijuu chakra tails are forming.More chakra means more tails.

This creature has 1 tails which means Sasuke took about 10 % - 12 % of each Bijuu chakra. More chaka would mean more tails.

So in some way Sasuke created Bijuu like creature.
