It's one thing to be a prodigious fighter but it's another to be a master strategist.


Yes Sasuke is a master strategist when it concerns fighting but NOT when it concerns politics. When you look at Ashura and Indra, co-operation is the BEST method even if the incarnate is evil.

Think about it, Ashura has the power to create and maintain land (the thing people fight over the most) and Indra has the power to prevent crime (Sharingan manipulates the mind)


If I was Sasuke I would've done everything in my power to find a way to make Naruto work for me, that's the only option when you're facing someone with Ashura's will, winning a fight will never be possible.


Imagine having control over someone that can create an entirely new environment in minutes, you could destroy and re-build anything at will
