I think he's gotta figured out now, he's asked everyone questions about everything he wanted to know already. Sasuke knows everything he wants to know by now, and he knows he doesn't want Itachi's efforts to go to waste more than anything so I feel like he will stay on the path he's on now.

Sasuke will be an antagonist again, but without any hatred or reckless behavior since he got to understand everything now (like Madara)...Madara is an Uchiha and antagonist, but unlike Sasuke...he didn't seem to be a person who would lose his cool on a battlefield and that's why Kishimoto made Sasuke understand everything....so, he would keep his cool when fighting against Naruto....Sasuke only said he would not let his brother and the Village be wasted....what people need to understand about what Sasuke said is...this could mean alot of things....Danzo also wanted to protect konoha, but look how twisted this nigga's ideas where.
