When Sasuke was about to attack Madara and got stopped mid-air, it was probably from Limbo(Shadow Madara).
The recent chapter cleared it up:

could be so , but it doesn't seem like he's being held by some invisible entities..but just 'suspended' in mid-air

Rinbo creates an invisible version of madara , who would have physically grabbed sasuke in mid-air . however we can't see any signs in this scan that indicates sauce is being held physically by an invisible entity. his shirt and flesh look perfectly normal, free of any compression except for the part where his blade pierced through...
