He should've been on his own like his predecessor Indra. He didn't follow the lone wolf thing like he was suppose to supposedly... Hell none of Indra's incarnates followed his path..
Hashirama was more of a Indra incarnate then Madara was working to get that power himself not through stealing an Mike Tyson bitting for flesh!
The two main Uchiha had to steal or be given powers in order to get their abilities... They didn't have to work for it too hard for the most part.. At least Madara fought Hashi for fleash to get his Rinne..

Scan? I heard he had a more powerful chakra and that he was more proficient with the black flames but the way I look at it comparing MS to MS, Itachi's was way better
His eyes didn't last long either tho....

but yes, itachis MS grants him better abilties. but sasuke has the stronger chakra fueling their doujutsu.

Hagoromo's convo with Naruto and Sasuke seemed to have gone over your head, because being a transmigrate had more to do with them inheriting their ancestor's approach in regards to achieving their goals and a lot less to do with their fighting ability/power lvl. If Hashirama was more of an Indra transmigrate than Madara, then he wouldn't have been such a proponent for ppl needing to co-op.

Sasuke was only relevant as long as Itachi was alive. After that, he just meandered about and whined and wasted good panel time until VoTE2. He needed the eyes to have some tie to the main story and to not get god-stomped by Gaara and Kakashi, let alone Lawd Naruto.
