preta path seems to have a limit on how much it can absorb at any given time. plus it wasn't so much the jutsu it slef that injured them, but the explosion. as far as i know, the explosion can't be absorbed. sasuke may be able to absorb kurama's chakra, but absorbing senjutsu is way different. also, consider that the bijuu chakra went into his susano and not in his body. so absorbing that much senjutsu would not be smart.
