- itachi was SICK before it happened. Almost going blind
- He never REALLY wanted to kill sasuke (as you see in the later chapters)

Even with these handicaps, Itachi still beat sasuke up and had him pinned up against the wall. If he REALLY wanted to kill him, he could have done it that whole time he held up Susanoo, while walking slowly toward Sasuke.

The only time Sasuke actually hit him was with the rigged shadow shuriken. THAT'S ALL. Wow, sasuke must be so bad-ass for being able to hit a blind guy who's coughing up blood.

You did this to grab some attention from the members. First, we know Itachi has a god mind that no one can berate in the least. At least, Sasuke gave him a good battle though he was clearly no match against him.

Sasuke also got him with the Fire Style Jutsu it obviously burned his hand! What did Naruto do? Run and get trapped with a simple genjutsu. Oh and if he didn't have a third ocular jutsu called Susanoo. Itachi would of died!
