In an instant he used his ocular powers to create himself from nothing to stab Sakura, if he ever used or knew how to use his senju portion to turn that genjutsu sasuke to life, he would've created another Sasuke right there and then.
Madara should take notes because this is how a real indra reincarnate stands out from the rest of the clan.

No not really.
Itachi who cam close to Sasuke's current level if not better created a genjutsu space which distorts not only your world but your perception of time too. Besides that, nobody has.
Even the 2nd mizukage needed to use matter such as claim mist to create an illusionary version of himself hence Yin element Hiden jutsu. Not the exact same deal as Itachi or Sasuke.

I actually agree. In the manga for the briefest of moments the reader thought Sasuke actually stabbed her, and only realized she was fine once Naruto pointed out that she was in a genjutsu.

The anime removed all of the shock value.
