No man, I mean Sasuke had his full chakra. Do you think he could have reversed Oro's jutsu if he had been on the brink of death ? My point is if Oro could have fought with full power in the real world, sasuke would have been beaten and exhausted, Oro could have used his ritual safely. That's why the fight was unfair

Orochimaru was on the brink of death himself! Did that matter inside the space of the ritual? There is no physical aspect affecting that space. Orochimaru takes over people by taking over their minds in that space. Understand?

Ritual was simply the battle of minds - one tried to take over the other. I dont see how previous event had any significance in it.

It wasn't just a battle of mind. It's a complically crafted jutsu. You need chakra to perform it. And sasuke used his sharingan to suppress oro's influence... How could he done that if he were exhausted and beaten ? Don't downplay oro's jutsu..

Oro was weakened but he had some chakra left, that's why he could use his jutsu. And that's why sasuke could use his sharingan too, he had chakra. If there had been a proper fight, oro would have kicked his ass bad and when he was totally exhausted ( i.e no more sharingan ), oro would have performed his ritual

Dumb dumbs Sasuke used genjutsu right before the ritual was performed, whatever happened in his dimension was reversed so didn't go thru. Orochimaru should have killed him once he was defenseless but again sparred him and tried to take his body.
