Both Naruto and Sasuke landed none when Shin was trying to run away, but Sasuke was taken by surprise whereas Naruto was simply dumb.

Sasuke while travelling sensed someone nearby so activates his Sharingan to confirm which is when Shin appears instigating an attack against Sasuke by throwing the chain around where Sasuke was which in this point time Sasuke withdraws his Sword and catches it then Shin proceeds to attempt to hit Sasuke with his Scythe but fails then while having the chain caught by his Sword, Sasuke channels lightning through his Sword through the chains onto Shin after which Shin jumps away and leaves

All this movement no matter the speed they were executed in was not done in a second or less.

We argued before, but I never made the argument this detailed before because we were arguing over something totally different. @bold Sounds like plain denial to me. Counter the OP's points please.

The most fairest thing is to start this match when you or your opponent makes the first move. This can definitely be the case for this match-up seeing as Sasuke was the one ambushed.

Notice how Shin simultaneously jumped and attacked Sasuke while swinging his chain around the tree. Ninjas move at incredible high speeds, so this most likely happened within mili seconds especially when the goal is assassination.

Now notice how amazing this is.While Shin is still hanging in the air, Sasuke simultaneously drew his sword/ activated his lightning stream and gave shin an incredible knee attack.


For those who doubt Sasuke was able perform such an amazing feat. He performed a similar feat at a much younger age! More specifically counter Mifunes quick draw w. his lightning stream blade. No doubt his technique would improve being the genius he is.

Mifunes quick draw that is also hyped to stop all shinobi hand seals. And we all know how fast shinobi move so there is no reason to doubt this manga evidence.

Using my phone so till my computer done fixing itself I'll give my complete reply but I will say that No the the fight started when Sasuke sensed Shin and Threw the chains not attacking with his Scythe which apparently your claim of a second battle comes from.

@bold Wrong! Sasuke mostly keeps his Sharingan activated just like Itachi. He didn't activate it at that particular moment. However, he deactivated it before Shin's attack (a testament of bravery and might).

@underlined Wrong again... Not at that time. Sasuke first deactivated the Sharingan, THEN that happened.
