Just so you guys know sasuke and naruto are not equals. Sasuke is better in taijutsu , better at hand signs, justsu cast, and badass skills (charka manipulation) but hes ultimately weaker in the hidden 6th field of jutsu; the field that naruto excells in and will always win "charka control".
Sasuke is like kakashi a person with mediocre charka reserve. Sasuke was never taught to maintaining large amount of chakra untill he gained the CM but that was nothing compare to all the tailed beast power.
You guys probably thought the fight was just naruto taking hit after hit like a punching bag but really it was just naruto dealing with a loud child. He respectfully let saskue the child to lash out all his anger upon naruto untill he was tuckered out..like a child. You probably didnt noticed that it was naruto who was always countering sasuke attacks perfectly, enough to just cancle out each blow evenly and perpared at the last second because its not fair if naruto could charge his attack for longer than a 1 min. To naruto it was just a matter of when sasuke wanted to stop crying.

vs naruto bijuu mastery". Sasuke wanted to defeat naruto so bad, at narutos own game but instead it was his downfall. Sasuke isnt strong enough to maintain or control that much charka i dont think anyone can unless you became a jin or have a unbelievable life energy(ex.Uzumaki blood), but we do know that naruto is a master of high volume charka distribution and controll at lvls beyond normal human limitation(hes been prasied by his teachers for his gift of stamina ex. Narutos clone training do an hour of nature training in one one min or sage training)
Well you can say" If sasuke had more time to learn his abilities(rinnigan) the battle would be differen" but thats just it right ...time. naruto is beyond time he can learn everything if he wants in seconds meaning naruto has the ability to be at two places at once. Cough cough shadow clone. When the time comes naruto will always be that cushion for sasuke...yea its that bad.
Sasuke lost was beacsue of his own ignorance he thought he could win a battle of hokage agianst naruto. Even narutos flash backs are saying that sasuke was going to lose because that wasnt sasuke. Sasuke lost himself along time ago and in truth(finding out the past of all shinibi) lives to carry out his brothers will. Naruto didnt want to go all out on fake sasuke because he felt bad knowing he would win.
