Your scan just proved my point, Sasuke used the opportunity to give Boruto experience no different to Kakashi giving Naruto and Sasuke experience through the Zabuza mission.

The fact he saw Boruto fit to join proves he never saw Momo being able to put him and Naruto in fatal danger, he wouldn't have done the same if the opponent they were facing was JJ Obito or JJ Madara.


And I didn't mean training exercise in the iteral sense but the fight was never a deathmatch to begin with, Sasuke and Naruto were in control enough for Boruto to practice using his Rasengan in real life scenario
