[Theory] sasuke cutting head instead of upper body

i believe that sasuke is inteligent enough to figure out that madara took kakashis eye to get to the kamui dimension for his other rinnegan (sasuke should know with his rinnegan that obito is not present in the normal dimension and that he has the eye), and i think that he has the ability to aim for cutting of head

that would resolve in delaying madara extremly , coz he either would need to regenerate before phasing or phase without body and then would have huge disadvantage in the kamui dimension (could maybe use susanoo but nothin else, rinbo was ocupied by naruto, other techniques requires hands i believe)

so for the plot even he is genial he did rly stupid thing

All plot buddy. Why didn't Gai aim his kick at Madara's head? Just plot, it's just the way things happened.

Thought without resorting to plot, both of those actions were not a bad choice of action. It's easier to move your head slightly to divert a blow or dodge completely as opposed to your whole torso. Had Sasuke aimed for Madara's head, a slight dodge could keep his head on and things still work out the way they did.

Not really, Sasuke would have needed to jump up to be able to cleanly slice through his head and that would have slowed him whilst giving Madara an opening.

It would probably too risky considering it's Madara.

Had Sasuke been more adjusted to his Rinnegan, he could have done that and used his teleportation to get him out of any sticky situation if it failed.

Yes, but Madara even said he was beginning to understand how Sasuke's Rinnegan worked so he still might have had an advantage. At the moment he is still one step ahead of everyone. Sasuke's quick thinking is what got them through this so far.

I saw a History Channel special on snipers and they say the head shot is a Hollywood thing. They aim center mass to confirm the shot does fatal damage. They picture a T on your chest from your nippels to your navel an shoot there. The NV probably wouldn't even be at war right now if there had been a few strategic head shot here and there.
