Sasuke could actually die

Sasuke could be killed and then revived in order for him to show up in the movie.

Clearly, neither of them will die. The whole point of this match is to get it all out of Sasuke and mellow him.

Besides, Kishi couldn't kill his favourite character.

Probably not at this point. He could be mortally wounded though, to get some come sense knocked into him. Naruto still has all his powers, so it is plausible. If he can heal near-death Gai and give kakashi a new eye, there is no reason why he couldn't completely tank suckske to get him to realize his folly then heal him.

Why do peopel keep saying sasuke is kishi's favorite? Kishi only said sasuke's hair was his favorite to draw because its like chicken butt...where in heck did anybody get sasuke's kishi's favorite?
