Gara killed for Sport. God knows how many, countless ninjas from different villages were slaughtered by him. But he's this little miss perfect now. Onoki has yet to pay for his crimes of terrorism against many a village. Danzo was given a free pass to carry on his shady, and borderline criminal activity against countless ninjas, consorting with an S class criminal, Orochimaru, killing many members of Akatsuki together with their leader Yahiko.

None of them were put to death. I don't see your point. It's laughable, by the way as all of these are criminals.

Also note that gaara killed innocent people from HIS village. Sasuke never did that. Also note that gaara was part of a plot to destroy konoha. Also note that sasuke has helped save konoha and has also taken down other bingo book criminals... If no one else in the village forgives sasuke, atleast naruto and sakura will.

I don't think Sasuke will become a good guy until the end of the manga. Its been beaten into the ground that Naruto has to stop him.

The plot will end up with the kages fighting.. Meaning the first gave him the info he needed. The war is hard enough on the shinobi of the leaf so Kishi wouldn't put to much more onto them at such a time.
