If Toneri gave RSM Naruto a tough fight, I'd say he could do the same for current Sasuke. As of the movie, though, he didn't give RSM Naruto a tough fight, he gave KCSM Naruto a fight. Current Sasuke wins, but any other Sasuke gets stomped.
