Sasuke cant compete

You're right, Sasuke can't compete. He automatically thinks that having a Sharingan and being an Uchiha makes him qualified to be better than everyone. However, this not the case. At this point, Sasuke can't beat Naruto... but here are a few things he could put into his arsenal in order to gain more power:

Rinnegan - If Sasuke received Rinnegan and mastered it to the same degree of Nagata, he may stand a chance against Naruto. It has never been stated whether a person can activate Sharingan and Rinnegan at the same time (Obito cheated by implanting the Rinnegan in his eye). I am sure a really skilled user can do this, enabling him to use Rinnegan and Sharingan techniques at the same time.

Sage Mode: He could just train with the snakes as Naruto did with the toads and learn how to master Sage Mode. A Sharigan, Rinnegan, Sage Mode combo is pretty good.

I always hoped Sasuke would get Elder Son's eyes instead of Rinnegan, to sort of give him something to stand out. As well as give Kishi a way to give him different abilities to get on Naruto's level.

Cursed mark wouldn't help at all I don't think. Only benefit that has is against Juubito, but vs Naruto it be more of a hindrance.

The Elder Toad Sage Prophecy says Naruto is the child of Prophecy the savior of this world Not Sasuke. Naruto's power will be Un challenge by Sasuke or anybody else.

Nothing original really, Kishi hasn't really hinted at anything so it's too early to assume. It would be overpowered but if you really want Sasuke to be OP give him Izanagi, and Izanami without blindness, just give him a time frame in which he can't use them. Like. Pains Shinra Tensei.
