Manga isn't implying that Sasuke did that either. You forget one little detail. Minato was able to touch them and not be affected. If you touch them lightly they won't effect you unless the user sends them back flying at you

Both translations imply he has some sort of control over NAruto's gudodamas.

I guess Sasuke may be able to touch ,but he may not able to transform them.If Naruto and Sasuke were to battle i think the gudodamas would do Naruto's bidding Sasuke's and would be able to hurt him if naruto intended so.When Naruto says the ''You can use that Shunshin thing'' he does not mean the gudodamas(truth seeking balls ) but to sasuke's teleportation ability.I'm not sure but i think ''Shunshin'' refers to teleportation since shisui was called Shunshin no Shisui i.e The teleporter Shisui.
Also,when Sasuke says ''I'm gonna go ahead and use this as a platform'' he is telling naruto that he is gonna use the platform naruto created for him as a foothold.

I don't know what would happen in battle but please reread the translation. I forgot you can use that shunshin ofc thats teleportation however Sasuke reply is like this foothold(referring to gudodamas). This means he can use both. The chapter is establishing Sasuke transformed the gudodamas into a foothold.
