You said he has too much self pride in copying Kamui, I am showing you he had none when he copied Lee's taijutsu.
To counter it you said he was ready to pay any cost to get strong and kill Itachi.
Well in most of Part 1 he was a good guy, only at the end he chose the dark path and still he didn't kill Naruto to gain MS or kill the other ninja's in part 2 during training where Oro was watching and commenting on his abilities.
You said he was ready to pay any cost to get strong. I am just showing that there were a lot of things he could've done to do so if that were the case but he didn't take those options.

Maybe not but the reason you gave to defend Sasuke about self pride and cost doesn't fit and that's something I don't think that can be blamed on the writer.

Towards the Sasuke having too much self pride and copying lee's jutsu I'll go back and reread it. Truth be told i never read that I only saw it on toonami. Maybe my reasoning is flawed but if it is i can only improve. So thank you.

yes and kaguya's/juubi/shinju tree's eye has 9 tomoe, while sasuke's only has 6. sasuke's rinnegan = uchiha + senju dna. naruto's body = all nine beasts. Not the juubi's in both aspects.
