Sasuke can moves faster than Mighty Gay while being in Night Gay mode

How can you even compare the two?
Sasuke attack was specifically designed for cutting, Gai's attacks are made to break bones/cause blunt force trauma.

Punching a hole through someone with an attack thats not designed to do such things is far harder than cutting someone with a blade designed cut while being enhanced to further it's cutting power.

Them both used a different king of attack, so the damage looks different.

I know. My point is Gai's speed was enough for his taijutsu attack to cause the same if not more damage then Sasuke's sword did. Sasuke did not need to apply the same amount of speed to his attack as a sword is designed to cut, where as Gai's Kick required more speed and power to obliterate Madara's left side.

Is Sasuke capable of 8th gate speed? Possibly. I can't say. Did he use it here as your thread suggests? No he didn't need to. His lightning blade is desgned to cut unlike Gai's kick so that level of speed was not needed.

notice the pause and bone breaking first? it was clearly with some difficulty, and he still went through one of the thinnest parts of his body.

sasuke on the other hand broke no bones and acomplished his feat with ease

Sasuke is using pure Body Flicker, hence, the surround isn't affected. Ae in V2, for example, is capable of completely eluding MS even, something even Gai in 8th Gate hasn't accomplished. Madara was using Rinnegan and tracked his movement for the most part - didn't at the end though. Yet, despite Ae's huge speed spike in V2, he doesn't affect his enviornment, as it's body flicker.

I hope this explained it, because Madara had no idea what the heck was going on. Sasuke stabbed him and moved to his original place so fast that Madara was baffled.
