This technique, acording to the manga and also to Kaguya/BZ is as hot as the sun.

People say that this is an exaggeration, but Kaguya being an alien shows us that she has knowledge of the planetary system and aspects of planets.

Kaguya was not wrong or exaggerating by sayng this thing about Amaterasu.

And Sasuke can holding this thing in his hand.

Imagine how strength and durability is Sasuke’s body for being able to deal with the sun temperature.

Then, the Manga and BZ are wrong.
The sun is way hotter than lava, fire or any other form of plasma found on earth. If Amaterasu was as hot as the sun, the person who'd be caught in it would evaporate in less than a second.
Even if he weren't touching it, it'd evaporate the body.
Magma is 700-1400 degree celsius. If that's able to melt a human body in an instant, Amaterasu is far inferior. 400 degree celsius, I'd say.
The outer part of the sun is 4000 degrees, the center of the Earth is 5300 degrees, while the center of the Sun is a few milion celsius degrees.
So yeeeaah, no. It's not close to sun heat. Kishi was high when he wrote that.
