I think you are miss using the word powerful. at least in the content that this forum uses it. What you proven (quiet well) is their level of utility or diversity. It seems like he had little more function than maybe Itachi.

bruv, all sharingan do that. Even kakashi could see rock lee's muscles rippping. It's a sharingan thing.

The only byakugan has is 360 vision and full xray potential whereas sharingan has partial xray abilities, better pre-cog, jutsu copying, genjutsu hypnotism.
