Sasuke would be a terrible Hokage, he isn't doing this for the village he is doing it for his brother.

He would be a tyrant, and besides he was just earlier planning to destroy the village, that isn't someone who is mentally stable and can be trusted.

He openly said he doesn't care what the people of the village think, that right there destroys him as a candidate as a leader must consider his subordinates opinions.

Danzo served his village for many decades before he became Hokage. Sasuke left Konoha in the dust when the going got tough. Nothing is similar between the two.

So to put it in a better way Sasuke actually saved konoha that time.
Also want to add that gaara a mass murderer became Kazekage.

Sasuke never saved Konoha, unless you're counting the current battle.

The point about Gaara is moot. Gaara actually stayed with his village and pursued the light through the idealism Naruto himself passed onto him, unlike Sasuke.

But beside that, last chapter he said this.

Now when did Naruto ever say such a thing ?

That's Sasuke's opinion about himself, nothing more. Naruto's been saying he'll be the best since chapter 1.

the difference between Narutoand Sasuke is, is that Sasuke knows about the history of konoha the build up
the Uchiha vs Senju clash and all that, He learned it he got his anwers.

- What is the village.
- What are shinobi.
- Etc.

Naruto knows nearly nothing about the past. but that's not the biggest factor.

Obito told him all that sh*t back in the 5 Kage arc. And Naruto figured out Hashirama's 'enduring' idealism before Sasuke.

Naruto can't acknowledge the fact that the Hokage's failed and still believe they are all
awesome and did a perfect job.. ffs even the kages themselves admitted the did the wrong
things.

Naruto's never needed to acknowledge any mistakes of the Hokages, why would he? But if you must know, he did fault Tsunade for her decision back in the Pein arc.

But Sasuke knows this and said:

''The previous Hokages created this current predicament, that's why i'll become hokage and won't let this happen again''

And Naruto wants peace between the Great Nations.

I keep this short but they are both in a near dead situation, Naruto only worried about Kurama, where Sasuke
cared about his village and becoming a good Hokage.

Naruto hasn't even said anything since he got yet Kyuubi ripped out. He's out cold. His actions speak for themselves anyway.

Danzo never betrayed his village. Sasuke went to the person who tried to destroy the leaf, Orochimaru and then joined the organization that destroyed the leaf, Akatsuki.

Danzo did his bad deeds behind the scenes, not many people knew about it, while Sasuke's bad actions were internationally known.

If the story were to continue, I'd DEFINITELY want Sasuke to become Hokage. I think he'd be infinitely more interesting as a Hokage then Naruto. He'd be a mix of Tobirama and Hashirama, conflicting between both sides. He'd be in the grey, he'd do the dirty-work of the Village but also develop some Hashirama/Hiruzen traits. Naruto would be just in the white, boring.

For a big chunk of it he wanted to be Hokage because it was "his dream" - but why was it his dream? So he could be acknowledged. However, he's already acknowledged, the world looks at him like he's a damn saint. Now it just seems to be because it's "his dream" - that's fair and all. Sasuke's reasons just come off as a lot more personal to me. Not only that but I find his goal a LOT more realistic then Naruto's. Breaking hatred and bringing an era of true peace? Get out of here with that naive shit.

But, the story is going to end and thus it would probably be better if Naruto became Hokage. And he'll probably magically change everyone that embodies hatred now and in the future with words. Saint Naruto.

Well so since he spoke with tobi he was not capable of thinking straight? You think someone who spent his whole life on getting Revenge is a good leader? He even ignored the sacrifice his brother made.... The only reason he seemed to have changed is because he thinks he is superior to anyone else aka a better Hokage than all previous were before him. Sasuke has always been to arrogant and therefore would not make a good leader.
The best candidate for beeig Hokage would be Shikamaru

All this talk about Sasuke being a villain, it won't matter when the war is over. Sasuke will be aknowledged for what he has done during the war.
He will also become the Hokage because Naruto will step down and let his friend be Hokage, that's the kind of person Naruto is after all and the circle of hatred will end U_U.
It's also pretty obvious who would be the better Kage, Sasuke ofc. Strenght and heart isn't enough , Naruto is lacking the sharpness and he's too nice.
