[Discussion] Sasuke and Space Travel

Question: How good is Sasuke with seals? And is it possible for him to learn FTG. Sasuke has already shown exceptional knowledge in seals when he reverse engineered Kakashi's sealing jutsu in order to resurrect Orochimaru, this and his current constant encounters with FTG might lead to him discovering the mechanisms of the seal and utilizing the jutsu. Though I don't think he will learn FTG I do think its possible.

I don't understand why you don't think Sasuke will learn flying raijin. He'll probably use flying raijin level three. This is like making a thread asking if it's possible for Sasuke to obtain rinnegan. At this point all of the evidence indicates that yes, Sasuke will be the successor of the 4th hokage's jutsu

ftg isnt that easy to figure out think about it minato leaves kunai on the battle field yet no other village has figured it out

It depends. At first I thought you meant summoning seals like the one used to get snakes and hawks. Now you are mentioning Orochimaru, which is a special case.

From the title, I was imagining Obito's space travel.

They are both Sharingan weilding Uchiha, so there may be a connection soon.

I don't think that Sasuke will learn Flying Thunder God. Like the Rasengan, it is perfectly suited for fighting people with the Sharingan. The secret to the technique is not based in hand signs, but in a complex relationship between seals and the user. I don't think this can be copied very easily.

If it was easy to copy, especially with the prowess of the Sharingan, Madara probably would have copied Tobirama's version long ago. Plus, Minato has left copies of his seal all over the place for quite some time. If Minato is confident enough to not recover all of his special kunai, then the technique must not be easy to replicate.

Furthermore, I doubt that Sasuke would copy the technique in the first place. Since the time-skip, Sasuke has made it a point to not copy other people's techniques. He instead adapts the techniques he learns into unique abilities and versions. His use of Chidori and Amaterasu are pretty good examples of this.

Time manipulation would be an asspull. A very unneccassary thing to tack onto Sasuke. He can already keep up with Naruto's speed using base sharingan, it makes sense to upgrade to ftg so he regains the speed advantage. He seems to be paying careful attention to all mentions of the technique and how it works.

KCM Naruto > A in term of speed , and Sasuke couldn't keep up with A's lightning armor V2 , so no Sasuke can't keep up with Naruto in term of speed.

There is a difference between learning and copying , he can learn it in time of peace , but copying it with the Sharingan , NO.

Producing the inverse of a seal is much easier and quicker than knowing how to perform the initial seal itself. That's pretty much to the point of common knowledge in real life too. For example, see Jiraiya using a five fingered seal release on Naruto during the Chuunin arc. Yes, I know Orochimaru's seal was "crude."

Also, "recent battlefield encounters" are not the same as "constant encounters," especially when dealing with fuuinjutsu, for which there is no precedent that a doujutsu will aid in learning the technique. The Raikage has more experience than Sasuke with FTG, even though Sasuke is a genius (thus requiring less time).

Finally, please edit your title to space-time travel, as that's what you're talking about.

What evidence? Do you know the requirements to perform the FTG jutsu? Why did the technique go from the 2nd Hokage to the 4th; thus skipping the 3rd (aka "The Professor" for his knowledge of all the Konoha jutsu) and Hatake Kakashi? Why does it take Genma and two others to perform their version of FTG to teleport Mei (taught to them by Minato) whereas Minato teleported the entire Kyuubi by himself. Is there a physical limitation involved that Sasuke does or does not satisfy beyond a simple knowledge restriction? There are no answers to these questions as of now. Please weight your opinion appropriately and state it as such. Thank you

It's unclear what physical and knowledge requirements are to perform FTG at this point in the manga.
