The OP just adds salt to the injury, because yes Cana always wanted to see Gildarts who abandoned her for many years like Sasuke did to Sarada, but they got some very heartwarming moments and Gildarts confirmed his love for her and her mother and gave her a reason.

This won't happen in Sasuke and Sarada's case unfortunately, we get the problem without the resolution. Bad writing with no regards to characters or fans.
