What kind of basis do they have? Sasuke has only cared for her at the most as a team mate and even that was a bit dodgy at best.
She only loved him because he has good looks. She doesn't understand him and doesn't even try, only thought that he was the best looking guy of their year. What she had was a crush. And now that he isn't the same anymore as her perfect picture she had of him, she wants to let go of him.
Plus she tried to kill him too - how does that make them a good couple?

Sasuke tried to kill Naruto and Kakashi as well. And yet, you ship SasuNaru. Sasuke is crazy at the moment. He's not himself. The Sasuke in Part 1 would never try to kill Sakura, Naruto, or Kakashi.
At first, she only cared about his looks. But then it turned into true love. Sakura still cares about Sasuke. She deserves him, just as Hinata deserves Naruto. They both really love their men. Both girls can fill their lonely hearts.
Sakura only tried to kill him because she thought it would be best for him and for the team. She still cares about him. I want SasuSaku and NaruHina to happen. Sure, the couples may be one-sided at the moment, but there's no other Team 7 couple that isn't one-sided.
I think that Sakura and Sasuke will get married and restore the Uchiha Clan. Sasuke is one of the last Uchiha heritage. Kishimoto wouldn't throw away the Uchiha bloodline, so I don't think Sasuke will die. The only girl I can see Sasuke with is Sakura. She devoted herself to him even though she had plenty of other men to choose from (Naruto, Lee, that one guy with the love letter). If Sakura didn't end up with Sasuke, then all her devotion and emotions will go to waste. Unless, she died for him.
