Sasuke and Orochimaru

A lot of people including myself are wondering who is "the one who knows everything." But something that's on my mind is why would oro help sasuke cuz the last time he seen sasuke he attacked him while he was dying. Why wouldn't oro didn't get his revenge? Any thoughts?
