sasuke and orichimaru will merge

crazy wacked out theory here but i was thinking. Orichimaru spoke that if he and Sasuke merged they would be unstoppable and in a sense he is correct. Sasuke's EMS combined with Orichimaru's invunerability, Sage mode(from kabuto), not to mention the countless number of jutsu he mastered.

the fusion of the two would be litterally unstoppable. obvously Sasuke would be in control but the power would be insane. It also will produce a way for Sasuke to obtain the rinnegan. I mean why else would Orichimaru still be around.

Not sure, it would make him unstoppable but it doesn't sound like something Sasuke would do also, Orochimaru has not stated what side he is on... for all we know he is planning something after everyone uses all their strength defeating Madara and the Juubi

oro is certainly waiting for sasuke to weaken while fighting during the war. Oro stated he couldnt fight sasuke with sasukes current power. And oro already stated(one of the first things he said when he revived) "I WANT OUR BODY SASUKE"

So oro will bide his time and wait till he can take over sasuke.

Then naruto could have a final fight with sasuke (to save him) who is controlled by oro.

For some reason I actually see Orochimaru going a completely different route. After being trapped inside Kabuto, Orochimaru seems to have a completely different goal in mind. I don't think he has changed sides, but he probably learned a great deal more about the Sharingan, Rinnegan, etc.

Thinking about everything, There are a number of things that fit well into Orochimaru's original schemes that didn't develop until relatively recently in the story.

1. Tobi didn't really appear on the scene until after Orochimaru was dead.
2. Even the members of Akatsuki didn't know very much about their leader, Pain, or his Rinnegan.
3. Kabuto, with Orochimaru inside of him, learned about Hashirama's body and Zetsu.
4. Kabuto learned how to release the Reaper Death Seal (otherwise Orochimaru would have released his arms before).
5. Kabuto did a great deal of research into the Sharingan and Rinnegan.

Orochimaru's overall goal has always been to live forever and be able to do every technique; ninjutsu and genjutsu (and probably taijutsu). This means that Sasuke is not his ideal vessel. Sasuke may have a Kekkei Genkai, but he can't perform every possible jutsu. However, Kabuto perfected many of Orochimaru's techniques, and Orochimaru now knows how to absorb other people's abilities into his body, even if they are Kekkei Genkai traits. Orochimaru has already gotten Hashirama's cells, which should grant him relative longevity This only leaves two things for Orochimaru to achieve his life goal.

1. Eyes that can activate both the Sharingan and Rinnegan
2. A body that won't decay or eventually reject him

Therefore, I think that he aims to take over Edo Madara's body.
