It doesn't mean you need chidori to use it? Darui has his jutsu black panther. It is relatively similar to kirin except it uses his black lightning to create a panther instead of natural lightning to create a dragon. This doesn't require chidori

After the clash the attacks vanished the exploded remember... Sasuke then jabbed his hand into naruto's chest (NOT WITH CHIDORI) for some of the sasuke fans that dont know and naruto scrathed his headband (WITHOUT A RASENGHAN IN HIS HAND) therefore he didnt have the option of rasengahning him.

Stop saying Cursemark doesnt match 1 Tail cloak because first of all it was CURSE MARK STAGE 2 on tail cloak. Seems even and with a clash of even attacks and sasuke having sharinghan it makes sense to me how it ended.

There has just been alot of false crap being said in this forum.

NO EXPLODE! because if it was explode their parts would be scattered instead it leaves a ring around their stomach or torse and pushes them, it blows up on impact (when it touches something) like ANY OTHER JUTSU, except chidori cause it pierces ment to go through something.

I have seen peopel in this thread say kishi was wrong 3 tomoes shouldnt be able to read 1 tailed moments i mean it read 3tails killer bee, tames summonings and even ninetales at 1 point. it has completely controlled the ninetales but it shouldnt be able to read its speed with only 1 tail. yeah wateva. You can;t strip their ability because you argue against kishi no one even gives a SH*t.

It appears that most posters on here are pure idiots ....

1st rasengan and chidori are equals... But have different effects:
Rasengan = large damage radius & high pressure impact
Chidori = focused damage & shocking impalement

Rasengan hasn't killed Chidori on the other hand is a assassination technique this means the emphasis is on chidori like hell bringer goes through its target rasengan like noon tiger or any powerful taijutsu crushes yes it has potential to kill but doesn't on most occasions
That is what Water tank shows

Anyone that knows the manga knows sasuke is superior in intellect & skill... Naruto has the raw power on his side

Academy sasuke owned young naruto
Team seven formation sasuke was far stronger (kakashi was a witness)
Vs. haku sasuke again proved him self above his peers (kyubi naruto saved the day )

We agreed Chidori =Rasenghan so how the hell can you put something without clearly more power up against Rasenshuriken they have different mechnicanics but hell no the power of this thing if itachi didnt block it with susano;o it would have destroyed that entire place, completely. Do you know how many rasenshurikens it would take to fill in the entire area of Kirin... Just look at sasukes body and see how many of him would fit in karin. Keep in mind that spec on the top of the wall is sasuke

There is only a handful of people that could block or dodge this.
anyone with edo, minato, 3rd raikage, and naruto... before you guys try to flame me for this BM naruto is basically equal to minato in terms of strength and most importantly has great reflexes

More on Rasengan vs Chidori. The initial impact at the end of the battle completely cancelled out. You can see that when the two strike each other, neither of them has a tech in hand. So why did Sasuke win? Because he was smart and aimed his strike low, so that the only area Naruto could attack was his head...which was protected by the forehead protector, negating the damage done. NOT because chidori was better.

Thankyou... Exactly but beyond that people don't understand kirin isn't like rasenshuriken, chidori, black panther, lightning beast running it is a natural force its power is beyond any chakra based attack.
